ClaAs to Post Free Tracks

If only all epiphanies and nervous breakdowns came with free music.

Arlington rapper, ClaAs, explains through bloggery (in great detail) his decision to leak all of his songs for free to the public:

Aight so basically in my dumbass infinite wisdom I've come to the conclusion, that as an Underground artist I'm goin nowhere unless I bring it to the fans and put it in their face. I've realized that even if I do sell albums, I'm still not makin money cuz it all goes back into another venture, ive realized that alot of my fans, alot of my biggest fans, are young or maybe cant afford to get on the net and purchase my albums because they dont have a paypal or dont have a credit card and cant do all that money order jazz. All this stuff is a realistic problem that i see everyday, and lets face it..most underground artists dont make money and dont get in stores cuz they have no form of distribution and have no major push from the rap industry..so its up to them and them only to move units and get their name out.....so why am I tellin you all this because im trying to push my name, I work my ass off and i do it all day long, whether its on here, in the streets, on my phone, I do it all day long...I talk to people on texts and on here, so that my fans know I'm in this shit for them, i love meetin people, I love helpin them, I love it all...this is my life and I want it to be my world..so I try and try and try until I'm exhausted..so that I can make my music bigger....so with all this long wind out of my system...it brings me to the point of this entire blog...

ALL MY ALBUMS WILL BE UP FOR FREE DOWNLOAD!

That's right, you read it correctly...in the next few days I will be puttin up all the music I have made over the past few years, full albums, extra songs... etc.. it'll all be free... upcoming releases will also be free. Now don't get me wrong, there will still be copies to purchase as well... cuz i know alot of people like actual copies of cds, those real collectors out there are the shit...but you will be able to download, preview, and then if you feel like purchasin at a show or online, you can...the normal sites like FLH and RedRum ,Killmusick all those will still carry it...but you will also be able to just download all the tracks and peep it that way, in case you're broke like most mafukkas in this world...

I guess I could say Merry Xmas w/this one... I want yall to know, I understand the misfortunes and hard times people go through, so why not have music to help you thru those times, and if nothing else you know you'll have mine!

So in a few days I will give the link to where you can get all the music at...and have fun! I love yall for supportin my endeavors! feel free to donate a dollar or something to a niggas paypal..for the xmas hook up ;) haha
