Former Denton County constable pleads guilty to soliciting sex from a child
Larry Dale Floyd will avoid a trial in Colorado on child sex solicitation charges, after pleading guilty Thursday. A trial had been scheduled to start on Monday.
In July 2005, Floyd got in big fat trouble with Canon City police and Fremont County Sheriff's deputies. He was arrested after Floyd drove to Colorado and thought he was going to meet a girl for sex, who he had met online. He actually had been in contact with an undercover police officer.
