Holiday at the Hall in Old Town Lewisville
The fourth Holiday at the Hall festival will be held December 2 in Old Town Lewisville, featuring a wide range of free family events from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the celebration, which was named the best special event in the country in 2003 among cities with similar population by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association, and the best special event in Texas in 2005 by the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers.
This year’s festival will include local favorites such as the Old Town Christmas Tree Lighting, Old Town Holiday Stroll, Sam Pack’s Ford Country of Lewisville Christmas Parade down Main and Mill streets, live entertainment on four stages, visits with Santa Claus, and the annual Motorcycle Toy Run.
New to last year’s event, the Polar Ice Excursion ice-sculpting competition will expand into a qualifier for the National Ice Carving Association championship. More than a dozen of the most talented ice carvers in the country are expected to compete.
