Training for White Rock Marathon a challenge for TCU students
TCU Daily Skiff has a feature on some students training to run the White Rock Marathon on December 10. It starts and ends at the AAC.
"It is more time-consuming than I realized," Jennifer Salim, a junior communication studies major, tells the paper. "If this goes well, I'd do the half again, but while I'm in college, I'd never do the full."
A friend of mine has asked me to do the WRM relay portion in the past. I used to run but not any more. I like the couch and television now. I also like bikes, but not as much as television and the couch. When I did run I had to have a Sony Walkperson. There was no way in hell I could go out there and run with nothing to keep me from thinking that all I was doing was running. Good luck, you runners.
