Wilmer council might get around to discussing that $150 million complex
After council meetings canceled due to lack of a quorum and a Nov. 22 meeting canceled because the city didn't finish its proposal for a tax abatement to an industrial developer, will the council finally manage to get the proposal and the council together in the same room? Find out at the city's regular council meeting at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7.
The proposal reportedly offers a 10-year, 50-percent abatement with the option for tenants of the planned Dalport Business Park to request a break of up to 85 percent.
