Balch Springs petition to get kids out of DISD
If enough signatures are gathered, both Dallas and Mesquite school boards will be forced to take a formal stance on the issue.
A petition is circulating around Balch Springs that aims to move all Balch Springs children currently attending DISD schools to Mesquite ISD schools, which already takes kids from the eastern portion of Balch Springs. If enough signatures are gathered, both Dallas and Mesquite school boards will be forced to take a formal stance on the issue.
