McKinney North computer science team wins several awards in contest
Finished 3rd in the advanced division at Southlake Carroll.
The McKinney North High School Computer Science Team competed in the Southlake Carroll Dragon's Computer Science Contest on Dec. 2 and won several awards.
The team, consisting of Danny Hooper, Brian Shields and Paul Derry finished 3rd in the advanced division. Hooper finished tied for 5th with a score of 184 and Shields finished tied for 6th with a score of 176 in the advanced division. In addition to the advanced division winners, Eric Hanley finished 9th in the Novice Division with a score of 104.
