Farine Elementary School will try to help break world record
At noon December 13, Farine Elementary School will participate in an effort to break the world record for the most people reading aloud simultaneously in multiple locations. Participants around the country and the world will be reading the children’s book Charlotte’s Web.
The goal is to break the world record of 155,528. Organizers expect more than 270,000 participants in the effort, which is sponsored by Walden Media and its partners. For more on the event, go to www.charlotteswebbarr.com.
