St. Monica’s Catholic School learns how to learn best
Principal Patricia Dulac of St. Monica's Catholic School has decided that this year all students as well as faculty will take the Dunn and Dunn Learning Styles Model assessment.
The Dunn & Dunn assessment is a questionnaire that determines an individual's most appropriate learning environment. The individual is categorized according to five different stimuli: environmental (such as the brightness and temperature),emotional (temperament), sociological (such as preferring to work in groups or by onself), physiological and psychological
Says Dulac to Bluffview People:
“Projects done by groups are so popular, and some kids thrive that way. But others prefer working alone. We hope to have those profiles so teachers can look at them and make sure all students are getting opportunities to work the way they work best.”
