Samuell High School to hold ‘Community Day’ clothing drive
Students of W.W. Samuell High School have set aside this Saturday, December 16th, as a 'Community Day' in order to provide service to the Pleasant Grove community. The event will be held in the school's parking lot from 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.
The students' main goal is to give away 500 items to those in need. Be they new items or gently-used, Samuell students are looking to collect men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes, shoes, and household items.
Mr. Pikes, the community liaison at Samuell, says "we strongly believe that by participating in community activities we can contribute to our neighborhood in a positive way."
The event is free to all.
