New record finishes at White Rock Marathon
Moses Kororia of Kenya set a new men's record in the White Rock Marathon this afternoon with a time of 2 hours, 12 minutes and 2 seconds. Svetlana Ponomarenko of Russia set a new women's course record with her finish in an unofficial time of 2 hours, 29 minutes and 55 seconds. Crowd reports indicate that the new record times can be attributed to the athletes' ability to run really really fast for a really really long time.
