Highland Village Mayor awards family of fallen soldier
This past week, the American Legion 182 of Little Elm organized a ceremony at the Veteran’s Monument in front of Lewisville City Hall to honor local fallen soldiers. Highland Village Mayor, Dianne Costa, presented the family of Army Private Aaron Hudson with a plaque honoring the soldier's service. Hudson died while fighting in the line of duty in Iraq.
Says Costa:
"We thank these boys for their courage. These boys, these men, were willing to defend what they believed was important to our country."
