New Interview: Justin from Max Cady
Last week Justin Moore from the band Max Cady dropped in to talk with Pegasus News. Max Cady, who formed as recently as 2003, have performed in nearly 200 shows. While being a successful top billing act, they are also the go-to openers for several national touring bands, including most recently opening for punk icons the Circle Jerks at the Gypsy Tea Room last month. What is remarkable is that all this attention came after releasing their first and only CD at the time, Tonight Alive. Now that the band has just finished recording their sophomore album, as yet unnamed, one can only imagine the potential success that awaits them. Some topics covered in the interview include:
- The name "Max Cady"
- The term "big, dumb rock" and what that means to Max Cady's music
- Their second album and what to look forward to
- Favorite shows played and bands to share the stage with
- Upcoming local shows
