Prosper man buys into 20 franchise restaurant locations
Joe Spates of Prosper has been a successful restaurant franchiser for 13 years, starting with a single CiCi's Pizza location in 1993. By 1996 he was operating multiple CiCi's units in Florida; in 2004 he returned his focus to North Texas to spearhead development of 100 Firehouse Subs franchises (one of which is currently under construction, with agreements inked for 26 more).
It must have been during his time in Florida that he was introduced to Peach's Rise & Dine, a friendly neighborhood restaurant concept serving just breakfast and lunch (much like Le Peep). The Bradenton-based chain is building 20 DFW locations. According to their franchising web page, you, too can qualify for a Peach's franchise if you have $75 grand at hand and a net worth of $300K. Oh, and a good credit rating.
Aside from their Florida Gulf Coast base, the only other state currently slated for Peach's locations is Ohio.
