Today’s release of Big Tuck’s Tha Absolute Truth is an opportunity for DFW

Regardless of whether or not you like Big Tuck, his music or someone affiliated with him, go and buy Tha Absolute Truth.

Big Tuck, a member of the group DSR (Dirty South Rydaz), is signed to the T-town Music/Universal label which is operated by Co-Ceo's George Lopez, Trinidad Delgado and Alan Powell. Big Tuck has released many mixtapes which has kept his name buzzing throughout the streets and South. It was the unit sales and buzz of his Purple Hulk album which caught the attention of the company Universal Records.

Today marks a test for the Dallas & Fort Worth Hip Hop music scene with the release of Big Tuck's highly anticipated album Tha Absolute Truth. This album consist of 17 tracks including the club banger single "Tussle" featuring Slim Thug and label mate Tum Tum. Big Tuck stated on his T-town Music bio, "It's a fight song! I'm trying to tell people to fight straight up if they have to and not give in and start shooting." Tha Absolute Truth also includes my current favorite song on the album, "Ain't No Mistaken" - (Danger Part II, featuring Erykah Badu). Until I hear the rest of the album, I feel like this is the song to officially push him mainstream with a video on 106 & Park and MTV. Big Tuck definitely includes his DSR members with songs like 'In Da Hood' (f/ Fat B. & Tum-Tum), 'U Can't See Me' (f/ Double T. & Lil Ronnie), and 'Meet Me On The Floor' (f/ Addiction & Tite).

For UrbanSouth.us, PegasusNews.com, T-town Music and anyone else that supports DFW music, I say go out and support Big Tuck today by walking in the store and buying Tha Absolute Truth. Regardless of whether or not you like him, his music or someone affiliated with him, go and buy Tha Absolute Truth. What we have to understand is that this is bigger than Big Tuck. This is an attempt to shine the light on the cities of Dallas & Forth Worth and possibly opening the doors for many others. Just make sure YOU are ready when the time comes. Support your city and your scene!
