Broken pipe leads to something fishy in Fort Worth’s Trinity Park
Local anglers revel in trying to catch fish out of water.
A humorous event reported by The Fort Worth Star-Telegram:
The annual Trinity River fish stocking took a comical turn Thursday when the long hose used to shoot the trout into the water came apart, spewing flopping fish into the grass and mud.
They slipped and squirted through the hands of workers from the Tarrant Regional Water District who scrambled to toss them into the river.
"Don't even need our poles," one fisherman said with the laugh.
The event was otherwise a fisherman's paradise.
