Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary students hospitalized due to pepper spray

Fourteen students and a teacher at Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary in Oak Cliff were taken to nearby hospitals after a student squirted pepper spray in the hallway. The student got the pepper spray from a teacher's key chain. No disciplinary action has been taken by the school yet.

Pepper spray is dangerous stuff, and should be kept out of the hands of kids - particularly stupid kids as the video below demonstrates.

Gates to the fairground (in West, Texas, south on I-35 just beyond Hillsboro) open at 5:30 p.m., and you can hang out touring the food booths until the 12:30 a.m. closing.
