Saturday morning meeting to be held on services available to Ash Creek residents
I just hope that all involved approach this with the best interests of all of the Ash Creek residents at heart.
Ash Creek Homes meeting
- Sat
- Dec
- 16th
- 9AM
- Central Church of the Nazarene
- 7979 East RL Thornton Freeway, Dallas
- Free
- Age limit: All ages
WHITE ROCK HILLS There will be a meeting this Saturday, hosted by Dallas City Councilman Leo Chaney and including members of the Ferguson Road Initiative and many religious and community aid groups to discuss the results of a needs survey conducted this week as well as services available to residents of the Ash Creek Mobile Home Community who are being displaced by the closing of the park.
I've written a lot on this topic, and will probably write more after the meeting. I just hope that all involved will sincerely approach this meeting with the realistic best interests of all of the Ash Creek residents at heart rather than justifying or grandstanding about the history of the issue.
Mike Orren is a member of the Ferguson Road Initiative.

Actually, the first clause refers to FRI and Chaney. The second applies to anyone who might dissuade others from taking help. Read it as you will.

Cool.
We had a Park Meeting at Benito Larado’s (space 22) tonight.
Residents are craving information.
Since we did not have unanimity on boycotting Mister Chaney’s meeting; the plan now is - we go to the meeting.
I handed out maps showing how to get to the meeting.
