Now five athletes kicked off Plano Senior HS teams

Brandon Shaw

Remember when a couple baseball players were kicked off the team earlier this week? Yes? No? Hello, is this thing on? Well, forget that. It's now four baseballers and a tracker, according to the DMN.

Earlier this week the Plano Star Courier obtained a school document that stated: “Brandon (Shaw)'s involvement as well as comments on myspace.com is a violation of our Student Code of Conduct and as a student involved in extra curricular activities, they are held to a higher standard.”

"I’m not going to lie, some of the comments were kind of mean," Plano baseball player Brandon Shaw told the Star Courier. What were those comments? "None of the comments could be specifically recalled by anyone involved in the incident and the comments have since been deleted from the profile," reports the SC.

Does anyone believe no one can remember what was said? Comments were "kind of mean" but gee, not sure if we called him a @#$%! or a *$%^& and that he !@#$% in a %$#@!? C'mon, people. I've searched high and low for the MySpace comments, can't find them archived anywhere. Oh, well. Anyone know what they are, feel free to let us know. This whole thing is making me more curious.

The father of Shaw told Belo8 news: " "It would be a devestating (sic) blow for Brandon to be dropped from the recruiting list as a result of what is a minor violation of the code of conduct, if a violation at all."

Wonder if there is a fantasy world where the parent cares less about college recruiting and more about the behavior of his kid?

Anyway, I'm not his parent so here is a little scouting report from Perfect Game (top-notch HS baseball scouting company): "Brandon Shaw is a 2007 OF/SS/P with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Plano TX, who attends Plano Senior. Lean athletic build, strong arm with good accuracy and carry, good instincts and range, good contact approach at the plate, stays through the ball well, good hands, adjusts to off-speed well, good base runner, good prospect with lots of tools, very good student."

PG says his college interests include: TCU, Arizona State, Texas, Baylor and Wichita State.
