Former Trophy Club City Manager to serve as Copper Canyon Interim Town Administrator
Donna Welsh retired last May after serving 21 years as Trophy Club's City Manager. Fortunately for Copper Canyon, Donna has agreed to sign on as the Town's Interim Town Administrator, while the town searches for possible replacements for Paulette Hartman.
Donna will spend this week with Paulette to familiarize herself with town issues in order to create a smooth transition. Donna may even consider coming out of retirement; she misses the excitement of being involved with a vibrant town.
Sidenote: While Trophy Club is the same geographic size as Copper Canyon (approximately 4 square miles) Trophy Club's population is currently ten times that of Copper Canyon (14,000 to 1,350, respectively).
