New manufacturing plant to open in Garland

The CraftMaster facility will create 150 jobs and $6.9 million of real estate value.

A new CraftsMaster manufacturing plant, which will take over the former Eckerd/CVS warehouse, will open its doors in April of 2007 at 4409 Action Street in southwest Garland.

I just really enjoy using this picture.

By renovating and occupying the former building, CraftMaster, a Chicago-based company that does more than $100 million a year in business by selling to companies that supply home-builders, will bring $6.9 million of real estate value and $7 million in business personal property.

Eventually, the plant is expected to ultimately create 150 jobs. The DMN projects that the plant will generate more than $100,000 in new tax revenue annually for the city as well as $300,000 for Garland ISD.
