Former Hurst student on probation after bleaching another student’s Mountain Dew

Former Hurst high school student Katherine Smith will be on probation and forced to pay a $500 fine after an incident last year where she spiked another student's Mountain Dew with bleach. Smith was the understudy for the other girl in a school play and thought the spiked beverage would make the other girl sick allowing her to be the star of the play. The other girl smelled the bleach before she ever took a sip.
