University Park Police Captain named as Duncanville Chief
From Waco to Dallas to University Park: Brown brings loads of experience to his new role.
University Park Police Captain Robert D. Brown Jr. has been named as the replacement for retired Duncanville Chief of Police Jack Long, who served with the department for 30 years.
Brown's selection results from an extensive series of interviews; he will begin carrying out his new duties on February 5.
Prior to his 12 year stint with University Park, Brown served with police departments in both Waco and Dallas.
