J.C. Penney fires COO without explanation

Plano based J.C. Penney Co. has fired Chief Operating Officer Catherine West effective immediately. West's firing comes only six months after being hired by the department store company. J.C. Penney has yet to give any explanation for the termination.

As I read earlier today, someone pointed out that this is money that comes right out of the pockets of the shareholders.
And people wonder why I don't buy publicly-traded stocks.
