Armed robbery reported at the Village Apartments
The Village Apartment complex in Dallas recently sent out an alert to all residents informing them of an armed robbery that took place late on December 27. The following is an excerpt from the apartment management's alert:
We have received a report of an armed robbery at The Hill on December 27, 2006 at approximately 11:15 p.m. in the parking lot. the incident involved a black male described as 6'3" in height and approximately 250 lbs wearing a black hooded shirt and pants. The suspect demanded money and fled in a white Hyundai driven by an accomplice. The Dallas Police Department was notified and responded to the call.
The Hill is one of 14 different properties within the Village apartment complex. Management advises Village residents to take extra precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their property, and if they suspect that a crime has been committed or is in the process of being committed, to notify the police first by dialing 911. Then residents are then advised to call Smith, the complex's hired security, at 214-631-4444.
