5th Annual Video Festival entries due in February

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD's 5th Annual Video Festival is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the creative talents and accomplishments of students and staff.
Winners will have their movie featured at the Awards Ceremony in April.
Entries will be accepted between Feb. 20-March 2 at the Administration Building Lobby.
Early Deadline is Friday, Feb. 23.
Late Deadline is Friday, March 2 at 12 p.m. (noon).
All entries must fit into one of the following seven categories:
1. Teach Me Something
Make an instructional or "how-to" movie
2. Make Me Laugh
Make a movie sure to get the audience laughing
3. Tell Me a Story (Fiction or Non-Fiction)
Non-Fiction - Tell a story about your family, your community, your culture or about you!
Fiction - Make a movie that is a drama, action, sci-fi or fantasy.
4. Teaching and Learning in GCISD
Brag about your school by showcasing what makes your school, teachers, administrators and students the best!
5. Character Education
Make a movie that illustrates one of the district's Character Education themes. Themes may be found on the district's website at www.gcisd-k12.org/character/character_main.html
6. Documentary - (Middle School, High School and Staff only)
Make a factual and informative movie that examines either political, social, community, cultural or historical subject matters.
7. Animation
Includes computer animation, hand-drawn, clay animation, frame animation or anime.
