Eagle Mountain-Saginaw’s ‘Robin Hood’ payments nullified

While most school districts in the DFW area have only seen marginal decreases in their Robin Hood payments, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD has had their payments completely nullified for this year.
Why the lucky break? Apparently, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw's enrollment is growing at a rate of 15% a year (the district currently has 12,646 students—a 1,800 increase from last year).
Therefore, the surge in enrollment is expected to offset increases in property values, nullifying any Robin Hood payments for the district this year.
If for any reason you haven't heard of Robin Hood yet, the thought process behind it is that 'property-wealthy' districts should help educate students in 'property-poor districts' by reallocating funding. Obviously, the reference is to Robin Hood's famous campaign to take money from the rich and give it to the poor.
Other Tarrant County districts that pay into the system include Grapevine-Colleyville, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Carroll, and Northwest.
