Fort Worth is gonna be rockin’ in the new year

Man, if you want to see back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back weekends of quality country music (plus some awful good stuff in between), you have to be at Pearl's Dancehall starting tonight through next month.

Jake Hooker and the Outsiders headline a New Year's Eve party tonight, then you've got James Hand next weekend, Johnny Bush the weekend after that, Billy Mata the weekend after that, Miss Leslie and Bobby Flores the weekend after that (and the regulars, Randy Brown, Chad Rueffer, Billy Keeble and more in between.)

Holy @#$%!, this is what country music is all about.

If that isn't your cup of country tea then tonight at Billy Bob's, Jack Ingram is going to ring in the new year probably pretty loudly.

General admission and reserve seat tickets at Billy Bob's include party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Some reserve seats are left but they are obstructed views. BUT you can scoot your chairs around the pole a little bit, they aren't going to totally screw you over there. Sit or stand? It's up to you.

What the hell, I'm so giddy I'm gonna throw in Styx and .38 Special as part of the excitement. Too bad Dennis DeYoung and his tightly-packed white hair isn't with Styx any more.
