Rhonda Vincent and the Rage will headline hours of killer bluegrass at the third annual festival in Argyle, part of which begins Wednesday. We'll have plenty more at TexasGigs throughout the week, but below is the full schedule.
From Wednesday through Friday, Pete Wernick (aka Dr. Banjo) will host his jam camp - a combination of classroom and hands-on instruction. The camp is open to anyone who plays guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, resonator guitar, even autoharp or dulcimer. The only requirements are that you must be able to tune your instrument (electronic tuning devices welcome) and change smoothly between the keys of G, C, D, and A. Fast playing or solo work is not expected.
Space is still available for the jam camp and the other instructional classes listed below. Click here for registration information. And for lots more about what happens at the camp itself, click here.
