Midlake's Makin' Me Happy!

DENTON — Okay, so below is a cut-n-paste of the updated Midlake news...sorry, I woulda formed my own words, but I'm just too dang excited about this new album...read on...

It Is Finished–

Yes, the much anticipated day has indeed arrived– The 47th anniversary of Alaska being admitted into the Union as the 49th state! (silence) AND–.Midlake has completed recording for the forthcoming album The Trials of Van Occupanther! The album has now been mixed and mastered and the artwork is currently being finalized. The release date is slated for May with the first single, ‘Young Bride’ scheduled for release a month or so before. In the coming months, we will be launching a new website, announcing live dates, remembering how to play live, and much more. We have appreciated all of your patience and support this last year and hope that the fruits of our labor will have been worth the wait. In the meantime, see below.
