Not long after wrapping up her Brave Tour in December, Nichole Nordeman will join Casting Crowns on the road next month.

The eight-time Dove Award winner will sing on the Spring leg of Casting Crowns’ 46-city Lifesong Tour. Nordeman comes through her hometown of Dallas on Feb. 10 at Reunion Arena. Dates in Abilene, Austin and Nacogdoches are also scheduled.

Casting Crowns was named 2005 GMA Group of the Year and lead singer Mark Hall was named GMA Songwriter of the Year for the second consecutive year, as well as BMI’s 2005 Songwriter of the Year. The band’s 2004 debut album earned the highest first-week sales of any debut artist on Nielsen SoundScan Christian market sales chart for the year, eventually selling more than 1 million units.

Also with Nordeman and Casting Crowns are special guest speaker and emcee, Tony Nolan, and Josh Bates, a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Kentucky.
