TexasGigs goes to Dave & Busters with LAZER

The other day, the TexasGigs studio was graced by international superstars Lazer. The band combines elements of techno and hip-hop to create a unique sound that appeals to masses. In fact, the band is so popular that fans across the metroplex have been asking the same question ever since Lazer came to DFW from the Rhineland: "How can Lazer be so dangerous and yet so sexy at the same time?"

Blair Lovern and I decided to spend an afternoon with Lazer to see if we could learn more about these musical pioneers. So we invited Lazer to come with us to our local Dave & Busters for happy hour.

When we got to Dave & Buster's, the staff was so excited to be able to wait on celebrities. One waitress even worked up the nerve to ask for a picture with Lazer.

Immediately, Lazer was curious about the "green tables with the great set of balls." I explained to them that they were for an American game called Billiards. I showed them how to play.

At first, Lazer found billiards to be a difficult game. But once Briso developed a new technique for shooting pool, they started having much more fun.

After a few drinks, everyone was laughing and having a good time. Everyone except King Jon of course.

It did not take long before fans began requesting pictures with Hammel, Briso, and King Jon. Lazer was gracious enough to let me be in some of the pictures as well.

After a few hours, Hammel and Briso felt that billiards was not dangerous enough for them. They ordered us to take them to the arcade.

Everything was going well until Hammel spotted Donkey Kong.

Hammel dominated Donkey Kong with his masterful playing. He was so good that girls started to flock around him. Briso became jealous of the attention Hammel was getting. He tried to get all the girls to notice him by making himself completely aerodynamic.

Despite his efforts, Briso could not keep the ladies from gazing at Hammel's crotch bulge.

After Donkey Kong, Hammel and Briso stayed in the arcade until they had beaten every single video game Dave & Buster's had.

They decided to use all the prize tickets they had won to get a giant purple gorilla.

Then they had fun molesting the gorilla.

The gorilla seemed a bit shaken by the experience.

At this point, Blair and I thought that we had better leave before any more stuffed animals got hurt.
