Grain announced on its MySpace page it was picked up by Project Independent, a group that rounds up unsigned metal artists:
"Project Independent's fall release, featuring Grain, will hit the stores on September 5th and will once again include a second disc featuring 18 unsigned metal bands from all across the country. Once released, fans will have 90 days to vote on their favorite compilation artist, and the artist receiving the most votes will be the next Project Independent Featured Artist."
