Rhythm says farewell

Ok... I'm kinda sad about this. Mostly because I remember being in High School, and hearing Rhythm on 89.7 (the Christian rock station).

I remember hearing them and thinking... "those guys kinda suck."

Then, I didn't listen to 89.7 for a long time, and 10 years later, I hear someone say "Rhythm got signed!!". I thought... "seriously?" So I checked them out, and sure enough, they got 10 times better! I went back and listened to their stuff from the past few years, and you could hear them get better and better with each recording. I finally got to see them live, at the New Music Festival last year, and was blown away by how far those guys had come.

So, I was pretty happy for them, being from Dallas, great guys making good music, and getting a record deal.

I know it's been like, 15 years, for them, but it seems like such a quick ending.
