11 Shot Near Downtown Club

DOWNTOWN DALLAS — Various news outlets are reporting that between eleven and thirteen people were shot in an altercation at a valet stand in the 1500 Block of Main Street last night. No fatalities so far.

The 1500 block is the intersection of Main and Akard, at Thomas and Leggitt Tavern, which until recently was the Metropolitan Grill. Josh Venable has recently held his weekly post-Adventure Club residency at the tavern.

KTVT reports 11 injuries; one critical. The gunman is still at large.

Be careful out there.

Update - DMN reports late Saturday night: "One person was taken to Baylor University Medical Center in critical condition, but that was upgraded to fair Saturday afternoon.

"The other victims were treated and released with gunshot wounds to the arm, leg or foot. Most of the victims were not involved in the dispute, police said."
