Panel discussions and individual consultations with physicians, lawyers and accountants. Free to all members of the Dallas music community. Musicians, managers, booking agents, nightclub employees, music production staff, music sales employees, music journalists, etc. Dallas Music Partners is a consortium of musicians and like-minded community members who pool their resources to help others in the music community. We sponsor free events to assist musicians in finding legal, medical, and tax assistance.

Dallas Music Partners reaches out to musicians, employees and families of the Dallas music scene

ISSUE: A large percentage of the Dallas music community cannot afford basic healthcare, financial consultation or legal advice.

WHO: Dallas Music Partners healthcare, CPA, and legal volunteers

Local musicians and members of the Dallas music community

DETAILS: Dallas Music Partners will provide three one-hour educational forums on healthcare, tax planning and legal planning to members and families of the Dallas music community. Licensed physicians, CPAs and attorneys will be host forums, answer Q&A, and be available for one-on-one consultations and assistance.

12:00 p.m.-1:00pm Discussion with physicians, healthcare professionals, and a musician concerning healthcare treatment for the uninsured, local clinic resources, and general wellness information.

1:00 p.m.-2:00pm Discussion with CPAs and a musician concerning general tax and personal tax filing information/strategies and tips for the April 15th income tax filing deadline.

2:00 p.m.-3:00pm Discussion with attorneys and a musician concerning legal issues faced by music professionals, individual legal issues, wills, and estate planning.

***Participants will be able to attend one-on-one consultations with available experts during the following times: attorneys 12 p.m. – 2 p.m., CPAs 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., physicians 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

There is no cost to attend the event. It is open to members of the Dallas music community. Dallas Music Partners membership opportunities will be available.
