Carlin Stultz, says:

I can't wait to see Okkervil River again. Missed them at SXSW, as I was quadruple booked. Other Austinites that never disappoint are The Black Angels & The Arm. Amazing lineup, sure I'll be there from start to finish as well. Cindy, let's grab a slice &/or a beer! x, Carlin

priapism, says:

I want to see the lassie foundation because I have never seen them live and their album Pacifico has a special historical meaning for me. In 2001 I was working a job I hated and wanted a new career. One night a friend brought over Pacifico and I was hooked. I felt like everything was going to be alright and I quit my job and went back to school and felt fine. I always said I would see them live someday, and now that day is coming.

Okay - Super excited about David Bazan. He's basically been a solo artist for years now, so it's time to let the cards fall where they may.

The Octopus Project will rock your face off, people, seriously, go see them. From Austin, and they use the THEREMIN!! such an insane 'instrument', it trips me out every time.

joannatom, says:

I want to see Theatre Fire, Pleasant Grove, The Deathray Davies, and Okkervil River. When my husband and I first started dating, we'd always go out to hear bands play around town. We saw all of these bands out on nights like this. Now, he's a medical student, so he doesn't have as much free time to check out new bands, and we're pretty low on cash for cover. I'd love to take him to go see these bands again! And, he'll have the time this weekend because he will have just taken a test Friday morning! Sounds like a great idea to have so many great bands together!

tania, says:

i am excited to see comet is on this list because those boys just will not play that often at all they always have the best stories 'bout having fight backstage right before a show, words being exchanged and then pulling off a transcendent set. same goes for the new year, although mostly to see if josh mckay is playin with them so i can get my every other year hug
of course also the happy bullets because they make me smile, pleasant grove, recordhop, and pretty much every one else, they are right when they say there isn't a lemon in the bunch! way to go lance!
