Mr. Steve Austin, winner of best hip-hop/rap. Where the hell do you get a Juggernaut, Bitch! T-shirt? Because I the hell want one. If Tom Cruise and Sergio Garcia were brothers and they had a middle brother who wore a green hat, he would look like the guy behind Steve.

I don't like the acronym DOMA (Dallas Observer Music Awards) - I think Dirty Old Man Association for some reason. Why do I think this? HOW THE HELL DO I KNOW?! It just popped in my head, I hate that. (Although, look at the nearby photo and video boxes - maybe I'm taking a journey into my subconscious I'm not ready for yet? Hmmmm...)

Anyway, check out some photos in this special and very touching (not really) photo essay from the Dirty Old - er, Observer award show Tuesday night at the Granada. (TexasGigs won one of the awards, thanks again everyone who voted.)

To start the show, DO music editor Sam Machkovech was beaten to a bloody pulp by a Dallas cop, a la Muff Thumper. Earlier in the night, Sam was dressed to the nine's in a sharp suit. I don't know what the hell happened.

so i know DO had someone snapping pics all night - first the prom pics and then a ton during the rest of the show... anyone know where we'll be able to scope 'em out to see which ones are "myspace-worthy?" (hey, at least i'm admitting it!)

i didn't think they'd be near ready but i see kristy k already has one of her prom pics up on her page!
