DOMA Award Goes all Stanley Cup on Us

Give it back you...you...you...trophy-stealin'-monkey!
I'll admit I was a tad tipsy the night of the Dallas Observer Music Awards - so I wasn't really thinking clearly when this monkey approached me and asked if he could "borrow" the award for a few days. Amanda tried to stop him, but the little bugger was just too dang quick on his feet.
I talked with Police Chief Kunkle this morning and he assured me that the monkey has been apprehended and the trophy will be returned to TexasGigs.com Headquarters by Tuesday morning.
As you can see by the photographs on your left - this monkey just ain't right...

That monkey is totally out of control. Thank God Cindy Chaffin is so very kind-hearted and declined to press charges. If it weren't for people like Ms. Chaffin, the world would collapse, leaving us in a universe totally controlled by monkeys. Evil, spiteful and mercurial monkeys. Because of Cindy, that will never ever ever happen. I think.
