Rangers manager visits schoolkids
A kid asked new Rangers manager Ron Washington if he ever quit anything. Says Washington: "I never quit anything. Once you commit to something, you have to finish. Quit? Never, never, never. In 1977, I busted up my knees. I was sitting there in the hospital and the doctor said I might be through. I told him, 'Don't tell me I'm through.' Now I'm sitting here as the manager of the Texas Rangers.
"Do I look through to you?"
