Rev. Horton Heat interview
Interesting Q&A with Jim Heath in the Long Island Press. A sample:
Long Island Press: What is it you’re working on, album-wise?
Jim Heath: Well, you got to understand that I don’t consider being a recording artist to be a valid art form because compared to being a musician it’s not really a valid art form, it’s more like making an advertisement for your band. So I’m always writing new songs and I’ve been working on some stuff but I imagine that some point next year we’ll go into the studio for 10 days and make an advertisement for our band. But in the meantime in busy with a valid art form, which is making music. So, that’s what I do.
