Harrison Lane Elementary Rating Changed to “Recognized”
HURST — Harrison Lane Elementary School joins the ranks of the campuses in HEB ISD that have earned “Recognized” status under the Texas AEIS system. The district recently received notice from the Texas Education Agency that the district’s appeal of the initial ratings based on 2006 TAKS results was approved. A clerical error caused some exams to have the wrong coding.
The following schools are also rated as Recognized for student performance for 2006:
Euless JH - Recognized
Bedford JH - Recognized
Harwood JH - Recognized
North Euless ES - Recognized
Oakwood Terrace ES - Recognized
Shady Oaks ES - Recognized
South Euless ES - Recognized
Stonegate ES - Recognized
Wilshire ES - Recognized
Donna Park ES - Recognized
Midway Park ES - Recognized
Hurst Hills ES - Recognized
Bell Manor ES - Recognized
Shady Brook ES - Recognized
Lakewood ES - Recognized
Spring Garden ES - Recognized
River Trails ES - Recognized
The district also has two elementary schools rated "Exemplary" by the TEA this year, Bedford Heights and Meadow Creek.
