Allen volleyball knocked out in state semifinal
Despite the preseason win over Amarillo, Allen (36-7) wanted to make a statement in its second state tournament appearance. Amarillo (44-1) is ranked No. 1 in lonestarvolleyball.com and the Texas Girls Coaches Association rankings.
Well, the Lady Eagles stated they weren't as good as stupid Amarillo, which swept them. Oh, well. Here's to them working hard, so next year they can beat the living crap out of them.
And they can be proud of: Amanda Bayer and Amanda Carson (2006 All-State Selections); and Bayer and Tayler Malloy (2006 Academic All-State Selections).
