Cedar Hill 42, Hebron 17
Football
Reports the McKinney Courier-Gazette:
Hebron coach Brian Brazil told his team after the game they had no reason to hang their heads following the loss.
“We had two losses it just happened to be to the same football team,” Brazil said. “When you play somebody good like that, that is going to happen sometimes. When you play in the playoffs there is only one way to leave them feeling good and that’s winning a state championship.”
“Going 10 and 2 in your first season in 5A, that’s pretty amazing. We have a lot to be proud of and we should keep our heads high. Obviously we are disappointed but that’s okay.”
