DISD to hold Area 1 town hall meeting to discuss school boundary changes

The Dallas Independent School District will hold a town hall meeting on December 5th for Area 1 parents, school staff, and community to learn about the proposed school boundary changes effective for the 2007-2008 school year and to give their comments and suggestions.
Due to the opening of new schools in 2007-2008, some students will attend classes at a different location in 2007-2008.

West Fest Polka Festival Westfest kicks off the weekend Friday evening with the Miss Westfest Contest. Gates to the fairground (in West, Texas, south on I-35 just beyond Hillsboro) open at 5:30 p.m., and you can hang out touring the food booths until the 12:30 a.m. closing.
