Evers Elementary gets to greet a hot air balloon
Evers Elementary students will greet the 70-foot tall, red, white and blue RE/MAX hot-air balloon on Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m.
The purpose of the project is to illustrate the principles of thermodynamics (hot air rises) to students. Students at Evers will learn about matter, and physical properties, said Principal Tricia Bolz.
Vanessa Sims and Aurora Pucciarello, both with RE/MAX North Associates, arranged the “How Hot Air Rises” program for the Evers Elementary students.
RE/MAX has the world’s largest fleet of hot air balloons, scheduling appearances at community events, office openings and educational activities across the globe.
(If you're not going to be there and are still curious about hot air balloons, then here you go.)
