Evers Elementary students to learn thermodynamics with RE/MAX balloon
The red, white and blue hot-air balloon, which is 70 feet tall and represents RE/MAX network’s “Above the Crowd” philosophy of service, will tether at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at Evers Elementary, 3300 Evers Parkway.
The purpose of the project is to illustrate the principles of thermodynamics (hot air rises) to students. Students at Evers will learn about matter, and physical properties, said Principal Tricia Bolz.
Vanessa Sims and Aurora Pucciarello, both with RE/MAX North Associates, arranged the “How Hot Air Rises” program for the Evers Elementary students.
RE/MAX has the world’s largest fleet of hot air balloons, scheduling appearances at community events, office openings and educational activities across the globe.
