Last chance to sign up for Rowlett youth baseball league

Registration for the Rowlett Parks and Recreation Department Youth Basketball program only runs through November 30. The program is for boys and girls ages 7-14. The fee is $50 for residents and $60 for non-residents. Players are placed on teams by a lottery system. However, coaches are allowed to coach their own children. Practices are in December, and games are in January and February. Registration forms are available at the Community Centre or online at www.rowlett.com. Volunteer coaches are needed for all teams. Anyone who is interested in coaching may pick up a form at the Community Centre. All coaches must undergo a background check.
