Trophy Club/Roanoke youth baseball signups
Trophy Club/Roanoke Baseball is announcing tryouts for Spring 2007 AA baseball. These teams will be representing TCRBA in the North Texas Interlock League this spring.
AA teams participate in a more competitive environment than our TCRBA recreation league. These teams will play both a home and an away schedule.
TCRBA normally opens registration for both the recreational league and the AA league at the same time. However, due to other leagues in nearby towns beginning their own AA league formation, TCRBA will separate the AA registrations from the recreational league. Our recreational league signups will be held in January.
Additional financial obligations over regular registration fees are to be anticipated ($150-$300). There will be 14-16 games during the regular season followed by post season tournaments that may stretch into mid-summer. Outside the normal TCRBA registration fee, AA teams are self-funded.
There are no minimum playing time rules for AA select and teams will carry a limited roster to maximize playing opportunity.
Because of the smaller roster sizes, it is imperative that each coach and player understand the level of commitment required for participation in the TCRBA AA Program.
Coach candidates for a AA team must complete the registration form found at the link below. The forms must be completed and returned by November 19. The TCRBA board will review the applications and select the coach for the applicable age group. Teams will be formed by a committee at each age level after the last tryout date.
Tryouts for the AA teams will be held on the following two weekends.
December 3rd and December 10th only:
U9 - 2:00pm at Indy 2
U10 - 2:00pm at Roanoke Fair Play
U11 - 2:00pm at Indy 3
U12 - 3:30pm at Indy 3

Bring the completed form to your tryout. League fees will only be collected from the players who make the respective teams.
