LeAnn Rimes set list. Pretty exciting, eh? Look - of all the pieces of paper I took a picture of on September 7, 2006, this was the most exciting one. So screw you if you aren't as thrilled as I was.

GRAPEVINE — LeAnn Rimes opened the Gaylord Texan's new swanky pants nightclub, the Glass Cactus, in fine fashion Thursday night. Technically, it doesn't open until Sept. 20. But about 900 folks got a sneak preview, including TexasGigs.

Overall, it's a pretty cool place. I know that all workers were on their best behavior, but I must say I was truly impressed by so many friendly folks and their service. The music to be featured there is supposed to be Texas-style music only (rock, blues, country, etc.) But the Gaylord overlords may use their Grand Ole Opry Power (or GOOP as we in the trade say) to pull in names such as the aforementioned Rimes. She is from Garland, don't forget.
